Escape to MacLeod Cottages, Green Bay, Nova Scotia
A place unto itself, where one can get away from the big things to consider the small.
Looking for a truly relaxing place to get away from the busy day to day demands of work and family? Come to MacLeod Cottages in Green Bay, just moments along the coastline from Petite Riviere, Nova Scotia.
What do people do in Green Bay? They bring those books they have been waiting to read and then read the books that have been left behind by past visitors. What else? They sleep, lay on the beach, swim in the water, hunt for starfish, crabs, sea urchins, and the endless supply of beach glass. They ride bikes, walk, run, snuggle, they breathe deeply and are refreshed..and they come back... maybe all they can slip in is a weekend or maybe even just a night sometimes in the fall.. but people who come for a visit, come back to stay.
Internet access/wifi is available at MacLeod's Canteen. Passwords are provided to guests. Guests arriving on Saturday are usually outside sitting on a picnic table in the mornings until they discover the wonderful soups, chowders, local fish, clams and scallops, pies and desserts served inside.
Green Bay and neighboring seaside communities are full of unique restaurants, artist studios, beautiful beaches and a wonderful winery making our area a great destination! Enjoy coastal scenery, beachcombing and the salt air along miles of Green Bay coastline. Explore our Provincial Park, museum and ever-changing community activities hosting a wide variety of live musical artists. Breath taking views are promised around every corner! Truly ‘shaped by the sea’. A place unto itself, where one can get away from the big things to consider the small.
